Gummy manufacturing process

The gummy manufacturing usually contains four steps: Cooking, Depositing and Cooling, Coating, Drying, Quality control and Packaging

1. Cooking

All gummy begins at cooking. According to the proportion of the formula, different raw materials are added to the cooker to reach the required temperature. Generally, the cooker can set the required temperature and display the current temperature, which makes the cooking process more convenient and efficient.

After cooking well, will get a liquid mixture that is known as syrup. The syrup will be transferred to a storage tank and then transported to the depositing machine, in which other substances, such as flavors, colors, active ingredients, citric acid, etc., can be mixed.

2. Depositing and Cooling

After cooking has finished, the syrup will be transferred to the hopper of the depositing machine through the insulated pipe, and then will be deposited into the cavities of the mold. The cavities have been sprayed with oil in advance to prevent stick, and the mold after deposited with syrup will be quickly cooled and molded through the cooling tunnel. Then, through the demoulding device, the gummies will be pressed out and transported out of the cooling tunnel for other process.

3. Coating and Drying

The gummy coating process is optional, the gummy coating process and be done before or after drying. If the coating is not selected, the gummy will be moved to the drying room for drying.

4. Quality control and Packaging
