TGmachine Fully Automatic Cake Production Line Successfully Installed and Commissioned – Smart Bakery Automation for Global Buyers
New-generation fully automatic cake production line integrates batter mixing, depositing, baking, demolding, cooling, filling and packaging into one PLC-controlled system. Capable of 500–3000 pcs/h, it helps bakeries cut labor cost by up to 40% while keeping cake weight error within ±2%. Watch the on-site running video for details.
The global baking industry is shifting fast from manual workshops to standardized, scalable and traceable manufacturing. To answer this shift, our engineering team has finalized the installation and commissioning of a fully automatic cake production line at a cooperative food factory overseas — and the on-site running footage is now published through website for buyers who want to see real performance instead of brochure claims.
This is not a single machine, but a complete closed-loop system: raw material handling → intelligent aerated whisking → volumetric batter depositing → tunnel baking → automatic demolding → ultrasonic cutting / core injection → centrifugal cooling → Sterilizing → metal checking → automatic tray packing → pillow packing. Every node is synchronized by a central PLC + HMI control cabinet, so one operator can monitor the whole line from a 10-inch touchscreen.
Why this line matters in 2026
Traditional cake shops rely on 6–10 workers just for mixing, panning and depanning. Human fatigue causes batter density fluctuation, uneven color and 3–5% scrap rate. By replacing manual steps with servo-driven depositors and 304 stainless steel enclosed conveyors, the new line stabilizes aeration rate above 95%, holds product weight deviation under ±2%, and pushes qualified rate to 99.8%. For a mid-size factory running two shifts, that translates into roughly 600,000–800,000 RMB labor saving per year, based on our pilot project data.
Core modules in plain words
1. Intelligent whisking unit
Instead of a bare beater, we use a fluid-dynamics barrel with variable-frequency drive. It reads batter temperature and density in real time, then auto-adjusts whip speed and air intake. Sponge, pound and chiffon recipes can be switched by recipe code, no re-calibration by hand.
2. Servo batter depositor
Dual-row nozzle head with 0.1 g repeatability. It handles plain batter, chocolate-swirl batter and jam-centered batter.
3. Multi-heat tunnel oven
Electric / gas / diesel / thermal oil options. Zoned PID temperature control keeps baking chamber ±1 ℃. For layer cake or muffin cake, we add a rotating hearth section to avoid edge-over-bake.
4. Capacity and flexibility
Standard configuration outputs 500–3000 pieces per hour depending on cake weight (50 g cupcake vs 500 g round cake). Modular design means a client can start with mixing + baking only, then add cooling and packing later. We have already shipped similar lines to Russia, India and Turkey; the video attached on website shows the Russian client’s workshop running 500 kg/h cream-filled cake without manual touch after baking.
Through video you will see:
Empty pans auto-loaded, oil-sprayed, batter dosed, entered tunnel oven
Baked cake strip pushed out, depanned by vacuum suction arm
Center injection of chocolate sauce, then ultrasonic portion cutting
Cooling spiral conveyor bringing cake from 90 ℃ to 35 ℃ in 8 minutes
Automatic aligner feeding flow-wrapper, date printer
PLC screen showing live OEE (overall equipment efficiency) 87%
No staged shots, no speed-up editing.
Buyer pain points we solved
A common objection from bakery owners is “automation kills handmade feel”. Our answer is parameter freedom: deposition gram, swirl pattern, bake curve and cut angle are all digital recipes. A brand can run artisan-style cupcakes in the morning and standard snack cakes in the afternoon on the same steel frame.
Compliance and export readiness
Frame and food-contact parts are SUS304. Bearings are SKF / NSK. Electrical parts Schneider / Siemens optional. Line can be upgraded to UL panel for US projects. Documentation package includes wiring diagram, spare parts list and multilingual manual (EN / RU / ES / AR).
Who should consider this line
Central kitchen supplying supermarkets with private-label cake
Hotel pastry division moving from 3-shift manual to 2-shift auto
Startup brand needing consistent gram and shape for e-commerce fulfillment
Closing note for procurement teams
If you are evaluating cake automation, do not compare only sticker price. Calculate labor per ton, scrap rate, recipe changeover time and cleaning water cost. In most cases our line pays back in 14–20 months. The attached video on website is filmed at real 80% load, not empty-run demo. We welcome scheduled Zoom call with your project manager, and can cut a 30-second vertical version for your own LinkedIn / Instagram reuse.
